✸ HAVE A QUESTION? WELL I HAVE AN ANSWER! ✸

about my books:

  • Yes, The Hands Remember is my first published book. I have many other novels started, which may or may not see the light of day.

  • I fear I do have an insatiable desire for control when it comes to my work. Self publishing just felt right for me given the specific vision(s) I have for my books.

  • My books are for adults 18+, in the science fiction/fantasy genre.

  • Yes. I always put content warnings in the author’s note portion of my books within the first few pages.
Content warnings are also listed on my website.

about my writing/publishing:

  • Right now, I have to find time to write around a full-time job. On days I’m working, I’ll usually write at night (6pm - 11pm) and on days off I’ll write in the late morning/early afternoon (11am - 3pm).

  • I’m a simple gal. For planning, plotting and outlining, I use a Leuchtterm notebook and the notes app. For writing, I use Pages.

  • Oh anywhere and everywhere. It ranges from other books, to movies, to observed interactions, to simple heartbreaking quotes. Recently though, I’ve been getting a lot of inspiration from video games and anime.

  • I have so many things cooking, but on the front burner right now is a standalone haunted castle/ghost romantasy story.

about my illustration:

  • Again, truly anywhere and everywhere. Though I’d say for my illustration, I get inspiration from nature, color and oddly enough death.

  • I almost always start with a pencil drawing, either in a sketchbook or on a piece of paper. I color it with alcohol markers, scan and upload to my iPad, and finish it off in Procreate.

  • Moleskine sketchbooks, bristol paper, Prismacolor alcohol markers, Uni Posca paint pens, Craftsmart acrylic paint, Micron pens, Ipad Pro 12.9”, Procreate, and Affinity software.

  • I have a few different shops: InPRNT for art prints, Threadless for apparel, prints and accessories, and Spoonflower for home goods and fabric.

about me:

  • I think I was always meant to do something creative. When you know, you know.

  • Right now, I use Substack for my newsletter. Follow along for updates and fun tidbits.
