Yes, The Hands Remember is my first published book. I have many other novels started, which may or may not see the light of day.

I fear I do have an insatiable desire for control when it comes to my work. Self publishing just felt right for me given the specific vision(s) I have for my books.

My books are for adults 18+, in the science fiction/fantasy genre.

Yes. I always put content warnings in the author’s note portion of my books within the first few pages.

about my writing/publishing:

Right now, I have to find time to write around a full-time job. On days I’m working, I’ll usually write at night (6pm - 11pm) and on days off I’ll write in the late morning/early afternoon (11am - 3pm).

I’m a simple gal. For planning, plotting and outlining, I use a Leuchtterm notebook and the notes app. For writing, I use Pages.

Oh anywhere and everywhere. It ranges from other books, to movies, to observed interactions, to simple heartbreaking quotes. Recently though, I’ve been getting a lot of inspiration from video games and anime.

I have so many things cooking, but on the front burner right now is a standalone haunted castle/ghost romantasy story.

Again, truly anywhere and everywhere. Though I’d say for my illustration, I get inspiration from nature, color and oddly enough death.

I almost always start with a pencil drawing, either in a sketchbook or on a piece of paper. I color it with alcohol markers, scan and upload to my iPad, and finish it off in Procreate.

I have a few different shops: InPRNT for art prints, Threadless for apparel, prints and accessories, and Spoonflower for home goods and fabric.
