When Indigo awakens in a decrepit hospital in a dying world with no memories and a broken body, that’s all she’s left with; two seemingly meaningless words that floated to the surface of her empty mind. However, that name becomes the catalyst for her obvious next move: regain what she’s forgotten and determine how the hell she ended up in that hospital half dead to begin with.

But when the authoritarian militia controlling the remnants of the world attempt to assassinate her, she’s saved by the mysterious Captain Vermilion and his elite but eccentric squad of agents. That one name, and the memories and skills that start to unlock within Indigo, are perhaps not so meaningless after all.

Now, Indigo and Vermilion make a deal. He wants to get his squad to the alleged last city in the world, Nova Cairn, in hopes of finding the rest of their covert organization, who aim to keep humanity from completely dying out. In exchange for Indigo’s help guiding them there, Vermilion promises his organization will assist in regaining her lost memories.

As they traverse across the continent towards Nova Cairn, Indigo and Vermilion are forced to trust each other, and fight not only the militia, magic-corrupted monsters and a rapidly dwindling timeline, but something even more dangerous in the fleeting apocalyptic world they live in: attraction.

When fighting for survival means deciding your own fate without memories to guide you, sometimes, you must rely on your hands to remember.
